**This is an intermediate course, so knitting experience is necessary for this class! You will need to know how to slip a stitch with yarn in front, k2tog, knit and purl.**
Brioche knitting is a technique that creates a dense, stretchy, textured fabric. It is known by its signature "ribbed" look, where each stitch has a distinctive raised, squishy texture, making it thick and cozy, ideal for scarves, hats, and blankets.

April Session: Thursdays 7-9pm, Apr 3rd, 10th, 17th
What You'll Learn:
- Proper way to make the knit and purl brioche stitches
- How to do brioche in the round
- How to do two color brioche
- How to knit a cute Hat and Scarf!
You will make one of either the worsted weight scarf or a chunky weight one
- For a standard, worsted weight brioche scarf, we will need:
- About 600 yards of worsted weight yarn.
- US size 8 knitting needles.
- Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
- Scissors
- For bulky or chunky weight yarn:
- Approximately 250-400 yards
- US size 10.5-11 knitting needles
- Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
- Scissors
- For the Hat
